A 3-Day Itinerary for Kaş
May 18, 20261 min read
Kaş is a small, warm town in western Antalya where the mountains meet the sea. Three days is the sweet spot for enjoying both the town and the nature around it without rushing.
Spend day one in the centre. Have breakfast at one of the harbour cafés, then wander the narrow cobblestone streets lined with old houses draped in bougainvillea. Visit the ancient theatre and the Lycian rock tomb beside it. In the afternoon swim at Büyük Çakıl beach, and watch the sunset from the harbour with a glass of tea.
On day two, take a Kekova boat trip. Tours usually leave from Üçağız or Kaş harbour and include the underwater ruins of the Sunken City, the castle above Kaleköy and swimming stops in crystal-clear bays. Bring your camera and plenty of water.
Day three is for nature. Cool off in the turquoise water of Kaputaş beach, or walk a short section of the Lycian Way near Kaş. You can reach Limanağzı bay by boat or on foot.
Tip: The midday summer sun is strong. Plan your sightseeing for early morning and late afternoon, and spend the middle of the day in the sea or the shade.
Kaş is small but endlessly rewarding; the best way to see it is slowly, at the town's own pace.
